Who Says It Is Over?

The king’s heart is in the hand of Jehovah as the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He will.

In life we have desires and hopes that we look forward to. Some of them have materialised while we still await the manifestation of others. However, in some cases the manifestations of these desires are pending due to one obstacle or the other which could be human or spiritual.

Indeed human or spiritual forces can be obstacles to promotion, marriage, contracts, employment, peace, breakthrough etc, this is the reality but be of good cheer because Jesus has overcome (John 16:33). As long as what is desired is God’s will surely it shall come to pass.

This reminds me of a lady who the Holy Spirit picked out from the crowd during a ministration that a woman was against her desire (God did not reveal the exact desire). A few months after the ministration I saw the lady again and asked her what the issue was. She said “my mother said I can’t marry my fiancé, that it was NOT NEGOTIABLE”. But to the glory of God the mother changed her mind (because God turned it to submit to His will) and they are happily married with a child at present. Hallelujah!

Do you have a desire that aligns with God’s will? Is the devil or someone saying it is not negotiable? Ha! Ha!! Haa!!! Only God has the final say. I see God making someone to laugh again as that lady did. Remember it may be impossible with men but not God, for with God NOTHING SHALL BE IMPOSSIBLE. You will laugh again in Jesus’ name. SHALOM.

You Can't Escape It!

Life is full of ups and downs. There are moments when we wish the celebrations will never end. Also there are times we wish we have a turnaround of situation especially when the situation is hard to bear. At such times one of our options is to run away from the fear [challenge(s)] and most often we do run away. We can’t keep running forever! There are times that we run away from what would have been blessings to us.

There was a time that I came across a book at a conference in Gombe State, Nigeria titled ‘Anointing for Endurance’ written by Reverend Tunde Bolanta. I ran away from it because I said to myself that “I have faced alot in life and I don’t need that kind of anointing, I rather prefer Anointing for Prosperity”. To prosper is good. And I pray that we won’t fall short of it in Jesus’ name. However, the Lord spoke to me on getting to my base at Yirmishika under Hawul Local Government in Borno State. He said “Have you forgotten that without endurance you can’t be saved? And he took me to Matthew 24:13 –

But the one who endures to the end will be saved. (NLT)

On reading this, I pleaded for grace from God. Are you experiencing some challenges and you feel like giving up? Please don’t! Hold on, you will be saved. God is set to give the needed victory when you take your stand as a soldier.

Soldiers don’t quit rather they strategise, re-strategise and fortify themselves. As Christian soldiers we fortify ourselves with the word of God, ceaseless prayers and by yielding to the Holy Spirit. Then are we able to endure till we are saved. You can’t escape enduring if you want to be saved. Hold on, don’t give up. Shalom.

KEEP YOUR JOY

The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure that a man discovered hidden in a field. In his excitement, he hid it again and sold everything he owned to get enough money to buy the field.

Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant on the lookout for choice pearls.

When he discovered a pearl of great value, he sold everything he owned and bought it!

Precious things are hard to come by but when you are fortunate to get one make sure you keep it, value it, appreciate it, adore it, admire and cherish it. If you don’t, you may lose it. And losing it may be too costly to bear. Please keep your treasures and cherish them.   

A Rare Gem

God loves you that was why He gave His only begotten Son for you so that His Glory

Will be revealed upon your life,

You are a shining star that gladdens the heart of the helpless,

Even the strong can’t despise you because they also grow weak

                Wisdom found you as someone that can be trusted and made her abode with you

Others may be confused but not you;

You are a body of love and compassion

You radiate even at the darkest hour

OH! What a rare creature.

That is why the needy,

Helpless and the down trodden

Awaits your manifestation

Arise child of God and put smiles on these faces

You are indeed a Rare Gem!
